Capital and market risk
You can lose some or all allocated capital. Fast markets, gaps, fees and missing liquidity can cause losses beyond a chosen trigger. A small initial budget does not imply a path to millions or any guaranteed result. Cryptocurrency prices, exchange creditworthiness and asset availability can change abruptly.
Spot execution is unleveraged in the supported path. Third-party account settings and outside transactions can still create exposures the application cannot control. Use exchange subaccounts and review all permissions.
Long options
Supported Bybit linear long options require matching quote/settlement currencies and contract size one. Premium may be lost entirely. Volatility, time decay, wide spreads and expiry affect value. Exchange eligibility and permissions are prerequisites. Short options, borrowing, perpetuals and unsupported multipliers are excluded.
The worker attempts exits before expiry; an attempt is not a guaranteed fill. Failed exits, expired instruments or ledger mismatches pause execution. Automatic expiry settlement and rollover are not implemented. You must be able to review and manage the position directly at the exchange.
Execution and automation
A strategy can make poor decisions or no trades. Quotes are checked for age and crossed books, but networks and exchange systems can change after a check. IOC limit orders may fill partially or not at all. Unknown submission results are not automatically repeated.
Multiple API keys can reach the same underlying account. Allocations across different keys cannot safely infer that relationship; isolate balances. Fees in an unsupported third currency, external position changes and insufficient permissions can require manual reconciliation. Browser sign-out, email confirmation and web-session expiry do not close positions.
Technology, providers and protection
Hosting, internet, exchanges, RPCs and workers can fail. API throughput is bounded by provider quotas and local safeguards, not a guarantee of highest global speed or continuous availability. Status probes are reachability evidence, not proof that orders or payments can complete.
MFA, encryption and signed reports reduce specific risks. Report signatures do not make Ethereum wallets, exchange authentication or every network link post-quantum. No security control guarantees protection against all unknown attacks. No regulatory compensation or deposit guarantee is asserted.
